Top Tips to Live Out Your Purpose

The determination to live out our purpose and dreams can be a strong personal motivator. When you need a push to counteract your lazy, sloppy, or “that’s
good enough” tendencies, the picture of your preferred future and purpose becomes a tool, a powerful energy source. Most people’s biggest struggle is how to articulate their purpose. Often we get stopped because we cannot articulate deeply felt inner convictions and thoughts into words. It can prove to be a difficult and somewhat frustrating experience for some, however, when you stop and contemplate the articulation of intention into actions and actually take
the first step you will find it is well worth the effort and the words to articulate your purpose flow easily. Because you see, it is not the words themselves that stop you, but rather you stop yourself. An unconscious mental block is thrown up and all the internal chatter that creates doubts, fears, worries and concerns, brings up subsequent emotions and feelings that only serve to stop you. We begin to identify ourselves with the struggle and become it, hence the creative energies get blocked, energy ceases to flow and we come to a screeching halt. Nothing happens, we are unhappy and overwhelmed. Our energy gets sucked out of us and then we just don’t want to do anything….failure results.

Think about the word DETERMINATION and what this means to you personally. How do you define this word?

Commitment means NO MATTER WHAT! And determination is a refusal to allow obstacles to stop us. “The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather in a lack of will.” Vince Lombardi

Similarly, Victor Hugo wrote, “People do not lack strength; they lack will.” In both cases, the word ‘will’ refers to commitment/determination. Which I think is easily

interchanged. When you are committed/determined to do something, the doors fly open and all that you need begins to fall into place because that is what you need and that is what you will see.

Commitment is like an Icebreaker going through an ice floe; it is unstoppable. The whole world steps aside when a committed person passes. Your commitment translates in to self-confidence. And we all know what it feels like to be in the presence of a confident person.

Such is the power of choosing to follow through. Determination brings freedom and control. No longer buffeted by the winds of fate, committed people are
guided by the power of their will. They understand that it is not faith or belief that moves mountains, but determination. “Determine that the thing can and shall be done,” said Abraham Lincoln, “and then we shall find the way.” The difference between the impossible and the possible, then, lies in commitment. Anything is possible for the determined because they reject the very notion of ‘trying’ and insist on doing…success results.

When we understand that to try requires effort and to do requires to be, it is easy to see how people who try usually do not succeed. Those that are succeed
because commitment/determination is a way of being; so when you set out to do something you do it with conviction and commitment to success. Even if failure seems to result, then the success is in realizing you have failed and you move on in a way that you will succeed. We have power beyond belief. Maybe that’s what scares some people. Courage is mastery of fear, not resistance to it.

When you determine to accomplish a goal and remain steadfastly committed to it you are assured success. You are the only one that can affect just how
successful you can be. Obstacles and challenges come and go, but your will, your determined goals remain steadfast.

When you are on the path to living the life you were born to live, you will know it because you will feel the passion and the energy to carry you through all phases on your path to a successful life, full of vibrancy and an enlivened sense of being on this planet.

Whenever you feel down or feel like things are not going your way, read his and remember what it feels like to be successful, visualize a time when
you succeeded and feel the power of that, then move forward with renewed, confidence, strength and calm; knowing you are born to be successful and are
that and not the fearful thoughts and ways of being that keep you locked into the rut of lost opportunities and unrealized goals. Life is a test. We all have
what it takes to pass the tests of life. It is only a matter of how much we wish to overcome and succeed to pass our personal tests and enjoy our birthrights.
