Yolanda Fair: Students Collaborating to End Violence Against Women

Yolanda Fair, a third year law student at UNC-Chapel Hill, with an undergraduate degree from Tufts University shares take-aways and surprises from the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women 57th Session including sextortion and the power of collaboration. She participated in the as a CSW Fellow.

Yolanda is the co-founder of Tufts Modern Day Slavery Committee, focusing on human trafficking. She volunteered as a legal analyst intern in Uganda. Yolanda is originally from Durham, NC. As a CSW Fellow Yolanda hopes to focus on how the legal system addresses human trafficking, opportunities and challenges.
